Flash Forward winners Favorites
Motion Graphics: Adobe - The Creative Mind. This flash website is a very creative, interactive, and fun experience. Almost every element that you rollover and click, interacts with the viewer. Animation upon animation. Probably one the most enjoyable flash websites I have ever been on. The website explores the creative mind. The universe in your head with imaginative worlds, creatures, and objects. At the same, the website educate and sells about the new Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 (use to be new). There is sound and music, video and interactive characters. There is 3 worlds. One that is futuristic, fast, and for production. I like that world the most. Everyframe is so seamless. I love the opening part of if and how it unfolds and forms. When you click on another world, the current one explodes and then implodes into the next world. The next world is a natural, green environment. There is a lot of interactive animation when you click on plants, flowers, and mountains. The next world is very abstract, organic, living world. Little guys that blow bubbles out of their faces and fat guys in swimsuits floating up from the ground with umbrellas. You just have to experience it for yourself. I think the idea is that, with Adobe Creative Suites, it is so integrated and versatile that your creativity will not be limited. Here is the link
My next favorite is Cartoon: Congo Windfall , the adventures of Arj and Poopy. Here is the link http://www.arjandpoopy.com/ep10.html . This cartoon is so hilarious and so are the several other episodes that you need to check out as well. The dog is so funny. Haha! I love how the animator made the dog lip sing through the whole song. Must have been a very tedious task to do, but fun watching it. I could see this animation as a real cartoon on cartoon network or comedy central. If it were on cartoon network it would have to be toned down a bit. The guy, Arj, is a little bit slow, but funny. The cat poopy does not talk out of his mouth (just watch and you’ll know what I am talking about). If you do watch more episodes, watch the yoga one, the cat talks a lot in that episode. Overall I enjoyed this cartoon, it’s funny, great illustration, great animation, great theme song, good laughs.
